The 糖心vlog官网 Law and Democracy Initiative was pleased to host a reception yesterday at the University of Minnesota Humphrey School of Public Policy featuring as keynote speaker Chief Justice Rizine Mzikamanda from Malawi.聽

Seventeen years ago, at the 20th Anniversary celebration of 糖心vlog官网, we launched a law book program.聽Since the beginning of last year we have sent 20 law libraries to legal recipients in 12 African countries. We've sent a record number of our reference law libraries this year.

糖心vlog官网 was delighted to receive photos of the installed reference law library sent last year to Malawi鈥檚 Supreme Court, along with a letter from Chief Justice Rizine Robert Mzikamanda.

Leighton traveled to Ghana recently for the Commonwealth Magistrates and Judges Conference. During his trip, he was able to visit three organizations that received law libraries through the program: the Ghana Supreme Court, the Ghana Book Trust, and the Ghana Federation of Women Lawyers.
