Claude and Barbara Mayfield started a small books project in Zimbabwe in the 1990s when they retired from their textile business in South Africa. With the help of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø (BFA) and other nonprofits, the couple has sent two million books to over 60,000 students in rural Zimbabwe.

Earlier this year, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø partnered with Libraries for Kids International to execute a project funded by the Grand Circle Foundation, a long-time ally. Together, we sent a 40-foot container of books to Amboseli, Kenya.
