ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø is pleased to share the latest report from Kenya from librarian Esther Muinde, a recipient of Kenya Connect.

ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø welcomed His Excellency Lazarus Amayo, Ambassador of Kenya to the U.S., at a luncheon Friday at St. Paul’s University Club, which was also attended by Congresswoman Betty McCollum. The luncheon celebrated BFA being named a preferred partner of the Department of Defense Humanitarian Assistance Program.

ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø recently welcomed a group of 24 young African leaders from 15 countries across the continent to our warehouse in St. Paul, Minnesota, where they met with BFA staff and board members and helped sort and pack books.

His Excellency Frédéric Edem Hegbe, Ambassador of Togo to the U.S., recently visited the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø warehouse in Marietta, Georgia.

On June 30, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø concluded its third-most-successful fiscal year to date, shipping over 3.2 million books to 27 countries in Africa.

A delegation of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø leadership recently travelled to Washington to attend the annual BFA Summit Society Reception, meetings with ambassadors, State Department officials, senators, representatives, and top donors.
