BFA Board Member Nicky Mundabi recently worked with two individuals at Jacobs to raise funds for her project supporting girls’ education in the DRC

In South Africa, lockdowns were hard on at-risk children, leaving them at home with no stimulation or learning opportunities.  ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø was able to support the work of nonprofit 9Miles by providing books and computers for this vulnerable population on South Africa’s west coast.

Korotoumou Katy Ballo was born and raised in Côte d’Ivoire. After moving to New York City, she wanted to give back to the town where she grew up by creating a library.
