ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø board members Erin Bagniewski and Tammie Follett recently visited Nyakabaare Primary School in Rwampara District, Southwestern Uganda.

Earlier this year, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø partnered with the Zambezi Schoolbook Project to ship 5 containers with nearly 350,000 books to Zimbabwe. Distribution is now underway and ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø is pleased to share feedback from some of the partners on the project.

ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø recently held its 2nd annual Georgia fundraiser luncheon, which was a great success! Attended by a total of 115 guests, which included a diplomat, a state representative, board members, corporate sponsors, volunteers, and even a former NBA player, it was a chance to reaffirm our shared commitment to education across the continent.

In July, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø shipped a container of over 40,000 books to support Shakawe Secondary School, a school in the small town of Shakawe in northwest Botswana. Read more about this initiative and partnership, including with sponsor BetterWorld Trust, here!

On Thursday, July 18th, the BFA Atlanta warehouse hosted a group of 30 Mandela Washington Fellow volunteers. As part of their celebration and community engagement in recognition of Mandela Day, Dr. Bezuneh and his team coordinate a volunteer experience with ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø for Africa each year.
