A new policy at Schenectady County Community College requires all clubs and organizations to hold one event benefiting a charity each year.

David Robinson, the son of baseball icon Jackie Robinson, traveled from his home on a coffee cooperative in Tanzania to visit Minnesota September 22-24 to talk about his work with ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø. Robinson, who has lived in Tanzania for more than 30 years, participated earlier this year in a walk across Zanzibar, off the coast of Tanzania, led by BFA Founder Tom Warth to raise money, deliver books and help end the book famine in Africa.

As part of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø’s ongoing monitoring and evaluation process, an enhanced post-shipment survey was developed for fiscal year 2016.  This direct feedback from recipients allows BFA to identify success points of our current programs, and helps pinpoint where we can improve our process to create the best possible outcomes for recipients.
